The Amazing Adventures
Of Super Stan
On the 7th of August 2019, Karoro School was invited to
Grey Main School to watch a performance. At 12:40pm
Rooms 1, 7 and 8 left Karoro School on buses to go to
the Greymain School Haul. Soon after we arrived we got
off the bus, walked through their school gates straight
into their school hall. We started sitting down in seats
where people could see the performance from.
The show first started off with a scene of the “boogie man,”
and the mayor called, “ Mayor Donut.” This was just a scene
of Staggering Stanley day dreaming. Staggering Stanley was
a boy who always wanted to be a superhero, who liked reading
comics and was very well known in the performance to be
someone who was very clumsy and was always tripping over.
There was an evil super villain called the, “Candy King,” whom
wanted to take over Proton Park/ the city with his minions,
evil scientists and the Curly Wurlys.
Staggering Stanley and his grandmother heard about this
super villain in town so Staggering Stanley’s grandmother
told him she might have mixed his baby syrup with the formula
44. Formula 44 was a formula that could turn a person into a
superhero, so Staggering Stanley only needed another half of
the dose to become a superhero. Stanley’s grandmother injected
the formula into Stanley and this injection turned him into,
” Super Stan!”
Super Stan was a good superhero who fought off the Candy
King’s minions. The Candy Kings minions were people from Proton
town who had been given these gobstoppers who turned them
into minions whom were under the Candy King’s control. Super
Stan was given some of his grandfather undies which was the
last left of him. The undies made Staggering Stanley fly.
Now was the time when Super Stan had to defeat the Candy King.
Super Stan was given a utensil belt with forks, knives etc. Super
Stan was confronted by the Candy King who tried to turn
Staggering Stanley into a tiny person. The Candy King failed
because Super Stan blocked it with his forks and pushed it
back on the Candy King, who got turned into a tiny doll who was
still alive.
In conclusion this was a cool play to watch and was very creative.
Grey Main School had put the play together quite well and must
have had many practises with their show.
